My Passion

I create fresh, vibrant images that capture the essence of my subjects, from portraits and landscapes to still-lifes and abstracts. With an eye for detail and a heart for life’s special moments, Gray Photography tells a story with each image captured.

My Work

Whether you're looking for a simple portrait or need help with a larger project, Gray Photography can meet your needs. I am currently accepting new clients and can work on-location (preferred) or in a simple studio setting.

I love natural lighting and feel the best portraits come from our natural surroundings. I like to have fun on photo shoots, and always try to make my clients feel comfortable.

YOU, the client, are my primary focus; I aim to please.  I am hopelessly creative and like to incorporate that into my photographs.  I believe that working together is the best way to get that just right photo.

In addition to prints, photos can be placed on canvas wraps, iPod and iPhone cases, totes, purses, key chains, jewelry, t-shirts and hoodies, mouse pads, etched glass, and many more items.  Each photograph is uniquely personal, just like my subjects, and can be displayed according to the client’s preferences.

A Little About Me

My love for photography began at the age of 15 when I was my high school’s yearbook staff photographer.  I took this passion with me to college, continuing my involvement with yearbook photography. Using a Canon 35mm camera, I took photos every chance I could and even developed some of my own.

It wasn't until I had children that I learned just how much photography had captured my heart. I got my first digital camera in 2001 and recently upgraded.  Here in Owensboro, we are fortunate to have many wonderful photographers whose work has influenced my own, including Greg Eans of Greg Eans Photography, Toni Riales of TRP, Denny Clark of Denny Clark Photography and the late Stephen Fitzgerald of Weddings Only. My fellow photographer, Tony Wathen, has given me much inspiration as well.

I am currently a member of the Owensboro Photography Club and am enrolled in an online Photo School from Nashville. My work has been published in print and online, and one of my photos even made it to national television!
